Fast Track Malmö is gearing up for 2020 and growing the team to help us build the best startup accelerator in the Nordics. We’re a startup accelerator that helps amazing startups launch their product and find the right investors. This is done through a 3-month accelerator program, accompanied with an initial investment of $50k per startup.

Since we started out only three years ago,

  • Fast Track Malmö has become one of the most popular accelerators in Europe, with an acceptance rate of 1%
  • Built a portfolio from all around Europe with more than 50% of the investments having a female co-founder.
  • Our startups have a follow on funding rate of 88%.
  • Raised the co-investment scheme  Fast Track Capital I & II, with our structure in planning.
  • Our Demo Day has grown to the largest investment day in southern Sweden, attracting more than 100 investors from all over the world

Accelerator Lead and Head of Investment

Want to run one of the highest quality startup accelerators in Europe? This is your chance. We are looking for someone to co-lead  our award-winning accelerator Fast Track Malmö!

Our two long term accelerator leads, Joel and Heidi, are leaving to start a new VC fund and we are now looking to build the new team to head our award-winning accelerator program.  

Accelerator Lead and Head of Investment


You will work in a small team with very diverse responsibilities covering most aspects of planning and running an accelerator. This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth progress of the accelerator program and the business angel co-investment scheme that we invest from.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Be part of raising a new business angel co-investment scheme to invest in the next cohort of startups
  • Source and interview startups, and be part of the investment committee for the investment company Fast Track Capital
  • Helping plan, manage and deliver on the program plan
  • Building and maintaining relationships with investors and partners
  • Mentoring, supporting and working closely with our startups to give them the best chance of succeeding
  • Developing individual financing strategies for the startups in Minc

About you:

  • You have either been part of a startup's core team that raised VC capital or you have worked in the VC investment team
  • You have knowledge of the startup scene and seed-stage investors in Europe
  • You’re not scared of rolling up your sleeves and getting the job done - whether picking up the phone or trawling through spreadsheets, you’re the right person to get it done
  • You are a visionary and know how to execute and get things done
  • You have great communication skills and that you’re good at applying them online and offline - some of the online tools we use include Slack, Google Docs and Google Sheets

The perfect candidate will love working in an entrepreneurial setting and have previous experience in running startups and raising VC capital.

Fast Track Malmö is part of Minc, the startup house of Malmö, and an important part of the startup ecosystem in the south of Sweden. The Accelerator Lead and Head of Investment reports directly to Jeanette Andersson, the CEO of Minc. You will complete the team together with Nino, Head of Accelerator, who has been working alongside Heidi and Joel during the past two years. This is a great opportunity to join in our mission to grow southern Sweden’s startup community and help amazing startups and founders.
